M My name is James and I am your webmaster for this site. I have loved the Vmax since I first saw it when it was introduced in 1985 - when I was in HS. I knew that I would have to have one and it only took 20 years to get it......but I did get it. While picking up parts for another bike I had (1986 YAMAHA Radian) in early August 2004 I noticed the bike you see on this page in the corner. I HAD to look when I remembered that 20 years had past since the start of the insanity known as Vmax. It was numbered 258/2000 and was stunning. I rode it out of there very soon after..........more later.L2

Put on Metzler 880's - better, but still too small and the rear spins easy. Sizes are same as stock - 110 front and 170 rear
